Manual Handling

Manual Handling

Injuries sustained as a result of manual handling have the potential to have far-reaching effects on both the affected employee and the company. Heavy physical labour, uncomfortable postures, repetitive motions of arms, legs, and back, as well as preexisting injuries, can all enhance the likelihood of these occurring on the job. Over a third of all injuries in the workplace are the result of manual handling. Pain and injuries to the arms, legs, and joints, as well as other types of repetitive strain injuries, are examples of MSDs that can occur in the workplace. Training has the potential to have a positive effect in the lives of your team members by increasing their level of awareness and decreasing their exposure to danger.
